Mountain hares are pretty calm and quiet through the day time as they wait for the safety of nighttime. This makes them very easy to photograph once they learn to trust you. The hares are especially calm when it’s snowing - no one likes being cold!
I love to play around with high and low key images and so when the snow comes in, it’s the perfect opportunity to play around with some edits.
Photographing mountain hares on a snowy winter day is one of my favourite things to do. Getting low to the ground and allowing that soft background to shine through made this high key image.
