Family Bushcraft at Brodie

Join me for a fun-filled morning of bushcraft at Brodie castle as we explore animal tracking, foraging, natural navigation, firelighting and loads more in the gorgeous grounds of Brodie Castle. This is the perfect day out for kids and adults alike and anyone with an interest in the outdoors will get something from the session!

Meeting at 10:15 we will take a wee walk around the grounds learning all about the plants and animals which can be found in our green spaces. I have a background in animal biology and so participants can expect to get hands on with plenty of bones, feathers, plastic poos and feeding signs (hand sanitiser provided of course!)

We will end with a lesson in safe fight lighting and perhaps even a marshmallow or two before making our way back to the castle for 13:00(ish). You can book your own ticket to this event by clicking the link below:

If you’ve joined me at Brodie for this bushcraft day before then perhaps you’d be interested in these, more specific sessions which I am running there this summer. They include pond dipping, bug hunting, making natural cordage, whittling, firelighting and foraging. To learn more, click the link below:
